 These two love birds are my cousins.  Beautiful petite Kelly met the tall dashing young man Nick, and it was love. <3 Nick is so funny!!  He fits in the family so well.  I had the honor of photographing their wedding last year.  It was a beautiful wedding!  Thanks guys for letting me be a part of your special day!

Colorado Portrait Session~Allison

Hello dearies!  How is everyone holding up after all the rain we have been getting!  Keep Joplin and the surrounding states in your prayers.  They need Jesus' strength right now.  :)


I had the most wonderful opportunity while I was at my photography school in CO.  I was able to take pictures of Allison, a lovely person with such a sweet spirit.  I was so blessed to be able to get to know her. 
My friend Clarissa and I were teammates.  We rocked the streets of Old Town Colorado Springs!!  ;) 

We had an awesome time!  Thank you Allison for being so gorgeous!  The best shoot of the week.  :)

Colorado~Friends Portraits

Derek and Laurel~Engagement Session

Hello my dearies!

 

This is Laurel, and her handsome-at the time-fiancee, Derek, who is now her hubby!  They are so adorable together!  And then, just when I thought they couldn't get any cuter.....they started singing together!  Talk about AWWW!   So, he brought out his guitar, and then we go over to this little grassy spot, he's all being shy so far, not used to having a camera in his face I guess, ;)  and so Derek starts playing, and singing, and Laurel joins in on this beautiful harmony.  I'm clicking away, and then I pause, and realize what I am capturing.  I sit back after I figure I have got enough pics, and just listen.  Quiet all around us.  No one to be seen.  It was like I wasn't even there, I felt like a little kid, peeking into this special moment.  My goodness, they sounded so good!  I think they should make a cd, I really do.  Their voices blended so perfectly. 

A beautiful couple, that the Lord brought together though His special and mysterious ways.  Such a blessing to witness. 

Below is a slideshow of all their pictures.  I am trying out this slideshow site, to see if I like how it comes out, time will tell if they make the final cut in my opinion....when it comes to photography, I can be a bit picky, trying to find something that goes with what I have envisioned in my head....  :-D
